Course Details

If you have a keen interest in learning Persian, this is a wonderful opportunity to do so. There will be a 60-minutes long class on every Sunday and the entire course will consist of 20 such classes.
Only people who are serious enough to devote the required time for study are encouraged to apply. Please make sure that you have enough time in your schedule to learn a new language.

The course will cover basic grammar, basic text comprehension with in-depth explanations, basic conversational skills, and a basic introduction to the colloquial language.

This course is suitable for those who are interested in acquiring an in-depth comprehension of Persian texts, along with a good understanding of the linguistic structure of Urdu and Persian. Those who are desirous of enhancing their appreciation of Urdu/Persian literature will also greatly benefit from this course.

After completing this course, students may choose to continue in the intermediate colloquial language course or in the intermediate grammar and comprehension course.

Prerequisite: The course is specifically designed for Hindi/Urdu speakers. Knowledge of the Arabic/Persian/Urdu alphabet is required. (Separate sessions for learning the alphabet, prior to the beginning of the course, may be offered upon request).

Timings: One 60-minutes class every Sunday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am EST (8:30 pm to 9:30 pm IST) .

Class Capacity: 10-15 students

Fee: A non-refundable fee of US $150 will be payable at the time of registration. (The fee has been kept non-refundable, so that only those who are truly serious and committed may join).
